Ballast Regulator

The Rail Under Ballast Discharge and Ballast Compaction Machine, designed and manufactured at Epsilon Solentek’s Eskişehir factory, has been converted into a Ballast Regulator through a comprehensive project planning process. This conversion project has been successfully completed, including R&D and certification stages, and the machines have been registered in accordance with COTIF 1999 standards and delivered to various regional directorates of TCDD. With their improved ergonomic cabin design and robust construction, these machines significantly enhance operational safety and overall efficiency in railway maintenance work.

The conversion of a total of four rail ballast removal and compaction machines, which are among the railway track renewal and improvement machines, into ballast regulators has been completed at Epsilon Solentek’s Eskişehir Factory with advanced studies including project planning, design, R&D, production, and certification processes. These Ballast Regulators are actively used by the TCDD 3rd Regional Directorate, 6th Regional Directorate, and 7th Regional Directorates, along with the registration certificates obtained in accordance with COTIF 1999 (APTU&ATMF). The ergonomic improvements inside the cabin, combined with its power and design, enable safer and faster progress in road construction, improvements, and repairs, which is of great importance.
