Flat Wagon for Hot Steel Slabs Transport
The Hot Steel Ingot Transport Wagon, specially developed by Epsilon Solentek, is an extremely durable freight wagon designed to safely and efficiently transport hot steel ingots, one of the most challenging logistical requirements in the iron and steel industry. This special design is manufactured to ensure maximum safety and operational continuity in hot billet transfers between steel production facilities, thereby guaranteeing uninterrupted flow throughout all processes.
This wagon, which is 13,600 mm long, offers an impressive carrying capacity of up to 70 tons and can reach a total weight of 90 tons. The distance of 8,560 mm between the bogie and pivot centers helps the wagon maintain optimal balance and stability while in motion. Additionally, with the ability to reach a maximum speed of 120 km/h when empty and 100 km/h when loaded, it offers significant efficiency and speed advantages in steel production and transportation processes, meeting the industry’s demanding requirements.
