Switch Transport Wagon
Transport Wagon The switch and panel transport wagon is a new generation wagon designed to meet the needs of modern rail systems, enabling the safe, fast, and economical transport of switches. It can transport all types of switches (wooden, metal, concrete; new or old) without disassembly. It supports traversed sections up to 4.8 meters in length, has no restrictions on the direction of transport, and can carry both right and left switches. Equipped with its own power unit and lighting system, it enables operations to be carried out on-site without the need for additional equipment.
The Switch Transport Wagon, manufactured by our company for TCDD for the first time in Turkey, was delivered to TCDD Ankara Behiçbey facilities in May 2016 in a quantity of 5 units. Both the transportation of switches from the production site to the place of use in a single piece and the significant speed and convenience provided to TCDD in road construction works with such a wagon are of great importance.
